The RerunHD app
The app finds your DVD copies, makes each one in turn and files the finished copy beside the original, as a second version your media server can play. It's free with your hours. To make copies on your own graphics card, it takes a licence.

It needs Python 3.10 or newer and nothing else. It finds your graphics card by itself, and with none it sets up for your hours in the cloud.
curl -O https://rerunhd.com/downloads/install.py
curl -O https://rerunhd.com/downloads/upscaler-0.1.0-py3-none-any.whl
python3 install.py --wheel upscaler-0.1.0-py3-none-any.whl
Then open http://127.0.0.1:8148/ to choose your folders. With an AMD Radeon card it takes about 16 GB of disk, with an
NVIDIA GeForce card several GB; for your hours in the cloud, about half a gigabyte. It installs for your own user, nothing as root, and python3 install.py --uninstall
takes it away again. Your copies stay.
Make a key on your account page and paste it into the app's settings. There's no licence to buy and no graphics card needed: each title goes from where it is, and the finished copy comes back beside it.
Paste the licence key from your email into the app's settings. Your files never leave your house.
For a second version in Jellyfin, keep each film in a folder named like its file: Movie Title (2004)/Movie Title (2004).mkv. Where a name doesn't match, the app says so beside the title. The app includes ffmpeg, under the GPL: what's in it, and the licences.
